​MVM Technical News: Innovations in Grinding and Sharpening Systems

• innovative Siemens PLCs, with 7“ and 10” control panel

• a new grinding wheel motor

Innovative Siemens PLC

For KS, KX, FX20 and FX40 models, MVM introduces new Siemens PLCs, 7“ and 10” touchscreen displays, and remote service module included in the price list.

System advantages:

• intuitive interface for ease of use

• simplicity in managing machine diagnostics

• time savings during maintenance operations

The system is also prepared, for the future development of software for the intelligent grinding machine, which will enable the machine to automatically adapt to machining conditions, and optimize grinding and sharpening processes.

Grinding wheel motor power 7 HP

The LA500-700 and PX grinding machines can be equipped, upon request, with a 7 HP power grinding wheel motor, and a lubrication-cooling system for high cooling of machining.

Advantages of the system:

• faster machining of surfaces, especially large ones

• Reduction in temperature during the grinding process, with the associated improvement in machining quality, and prolongation of grinding wheel life
